Battle City Ottawa is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to hosting eSports events in Ottawa, focused on fighting games. Managed and operated by volunteers, we create a welcoming space for the community to compete and connect.

Managed and promoted by local volunteers, we aim to provide a welcoming environment for all players, from beginners to seasoned pros, to come together, have fun, and showcase their skills.

Expect a friendly atmosphere where the focus is on community, fun, and skill-building. Whether you're attending a weekly event or a larger tournament, you'll find a welcoming space to play, learn, and meet other passionate gamers.
Important details
Our events feature 90% PC setups and 10% PS5 with 144Hz monitors paired with a variety of fighting games. Bring your controller and cable, and get ready for exciting matches, raffles, BBQs, and the chance to earn fantastic prizes !
How to join our community
Simply come to one of our events, pay the venue fee, and sign up for the brackets you’d like to compete in. The brackets are free to enter (except for specific events where there is a small fee). No matter your skill level, you’ll find a space to jump in and be part of the action.
How much do events cost
Weekly Battle City (Nepean): $10 venue fee, free bracket entry. BBQ/raffles may have small costs (>$5). Weekly GT Fighters (Carleton Place): $2.50 venue fee, $2.50 per bracket entry (70/30 prize split). Bonus 30% if prizing is redeemed in-store. Monthly Capital City Clash: $10 venue fee, $5 per bracket (goes to prize pool). Spectating/casuals are free. Bi-Annual Tournaments: Prices vary, early bird registration recommended.
